In the realm of KIMU's "The New Old Collection," we journey like archaeologists and travelers through the cultural landscapes of East Asia, seeking out breadcrumbs across the timeline. We gather these fragments to craft new objects that echo the essence and silhouette of East Asia, translating each yesterday into the living artifacts of tomorrow.

In the 19th century, the invention of the light tube emerged, and in response to industrial needs, the explosion-proof light, which holds a significant place among vintage items, was developed. What would the industrial-style explosion-proof light tube look like with an Oriental interpretation?

Thus, the chapter of The New Old - Episode II was born.
